1.  What type of coaches are a good fit for your program?

Here at The JWC Group, we are committed to working only with the best coaches in the world. And that means we have a stringent application process. Please know that everyone who applies will not become a Certified RESULTS Coach as we're limiting the number of certifications we sell to keep quality and demand high. We know the application process is quite extensive, so before you sit down to fill out the paperwork, please make sure you fulfill the qualifications before submitting an application.

Application to the becoming a RESULTS Coach is open to anyone who has fulfilled these qualifications:

For External Coaches (defined as you work as an independent coach in your own business):

  • You have experience in the coaching or consulting arena either by holding a job in this area for a minimum of five years, being trained at an accredited coaching school or working with clients as a coach/consultant/trainer for a minimum of 24 months.
  • You are currently working as an independent coach in your own business at least part-time.  Or you have a written strategic plan to get you to this place.
  • You've worked in a business setting and know what it's like to work in a corporate environment.
  • You have experience, knowledge or understanding of fundamental business practices.
  • You are dedicated to being involved with a cutting-edge international program, to exploding your clients or employees results, and to being the best Certified RESULTS Coach possible.
  • You enjoy teaching, training, coaching and consulting — and you have a gift for it.
  • You have the capacity and the experience to work with senior level executives in difficult situations. You're not afraid to tell the truth to high level leaders.
  • You've been trained with an ICF-accrediated coaching school (not required, but a nice thing to have).

For Internal Coaches (defined as you work for a company where you spend a large portion of your time coaching, training and mentoring others):

  • You currently hold a job where you're responsible for training or coaching employees OR you're in a managerial role and want to become an internal coach with your company.
  • You enjoy and have a knack for working with other people.
  • You have the respect of your company leadership team so they would support this type of endeavor in the organization.
  • You have direct impact on the results your organization wants to achieve – and you've demonstrated the ability to get results through other people.
  • You have a deep desire to be an internal coach in order to influence positive behavior throughout your organization.
  • You've been trained with an ICF-accrediated coaching school (not required, but a nice thing to have).
  • You enjoy teaching, training, coaching and consulting — and you have a gift for it.

2.  Why would I want to invest to become a Certified RESULTS Coach?

We anticipate Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ will become a national bestseller as soon as Jennifer White's book by the same title hits bookshelves in April 2001.  Her substantial media exposure with her first book (and coaching program), "Work Less, Make More," created huge demand for the material, and we expect the same thing to be true with this leadership program.  What that means is we need coaches trained in our methodology to leverage the anticipated demand.  This makes room for opportunities with internal and external coaches to be on the leading edge of a powerful corporate coaching program.

Because of the complexity of Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™, our coaches go through a six-month training process to learn how to use our methodology to get results in corporations.  That includes two three-day training events in Kansas City and six months of virtual training done by phone, fax and e-mail.  Yes, this is a lot of time.  We've found it's the only way for you to fully understand what Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ truly does.

After the initial live training session, you can use all our materials, methodologies, systems and ideas right away to achieve better results with your clients or within your company.  In fact, we recommend that you immediately find a group to work with so you can test and experiment with our innovative 7-step process.  Working with leaders on this program is the only way to fully comprehend its power.  We work with you in both virtual and live training to help you become masterful at Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™.

For External Coaches: We are extremely selective on the independent coaches we bring to our team as you'll be representing us in the marketplace.  Once selected as one of our coaches, we'll teach you how to market Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ so you are able to get a return on your investment quickly.  Our marketing system comes from years of Jennifer White experience has as she built a nationwide, highly visible and profitable coaching business.  Most importantly, our marketing system works.

We do send referrals to our external coaches, but we cannot guarantee you'll receive any as they're based on market demand.  The most successful coaches on our team combine our marketing efforts with their own to build a bullet-proof practice.  Here at The JWC Group, we have a very extensive marketing program in place in 2001 to leverage the book's launch in the marketplace – and we'll show you how to take advantage of our efforts as well.

For Internal Coaches: What's so powerful about Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ is you finally have a solid, documented and field-tested corporate coaching program to bring to your company.  We give you everything you need to coach leaders and their employees.  No more time spent developing or trying to prove that coaching works.  Our proven program includes everything you need to jump in and start coaching internally right away.   One major challenge internal coaches face is how to sell coaching to the CEO and the executive team.  When you become a part of our team, we'll teach you how to gain power within your company no matter what our position – and we'll help you package this program so your CEO and executives fully support what you're doing.  You can take this certification with you to other companies as you expand your career, and if you want to use this program beyond your internal coaching responsibilities, you'll need to apply to be an external coach as well.  The requirements for external coaches are much more substantial than for internal coaches.  Call us and we'll further explain how this works.

And yes, we do bring this training and certification program to companies as a "Train The Coach" program if you have a minimum of eight people in the training class.  Contact us and we can discuss what works best for you and your company.  


4.  How is this training different from your Work Less, Make More program?

Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ is designed as a corporate coaching program.  Our coaches work with leaders and managers in organizations to help them achieve better results and change their leadership behaviors.  Work Less, Make More® is designed for coaches who work with individuals and small groups on gaining control in an out-of-control world.  Both programs are excellent coaching system.  The difference is one is geared to corporations and the other to individuals.

The best way to decide which program is right for you is to think about who you want to coach.  If you want to work with individuals, free agents, professionals, salespeople or entrepreneurs, Work Less, Make More® is right for you.  If you want to work with complex companies and leadership teams, Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ is the right program.

 


5. If I invest in this training, what can I expect for my money?

Here's a list of everything you'll receive from your investment of $6,000:

  • Two comprehensive three-day training programs held in Kansas City. You'll show up for three days when you start this process, attend virtual Success Team training by phone and e-mail for three months then come back for three more live training days.  We follow that with three final months of virtual training.
  • A six-month training program as part of a Success Team. Because Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ program is so extensive, your initial three-day training program is just the beginning of learning how to use this material. You'll meet once a week via interactive conference call as a member of a Success Team — an intimate group with a maximum of 15 participants — to discuss, strategize, brainstorm and learn about using our coaching methodology in your organization. You'll be using the program right away with your company or your clients, and this group is a great way to hone your skills as you integrate the material.  We've found our Coaches are more successful when they participate in this weekly group.
  • An extensive package of materials that give you everything you need to use the Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ philosophy with your company or your clients. These include worksheets, handouts, overheads, how-to sheets, evaluation forms, Client-Only materials, Coach-Only instructions, workshop explanations, coaching advice, brochures, stationary and letterhead to use, common problems coaches experience and what to do about it, common problems leaders experience and what to do about it, common problems employees experience and what to do about it, scripts, articles to use, audio tapes, newsletters, articles and so much more. These materials are also available in a password-protected area of our web site for Certified Coaches only.   • The ability to use the Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ trademark and Certified RESULTS Coach in marketing materials, promotional opportunities and to further your career.  As the book hits the market and becomes a business best-seller, our Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ trademark will be a name that carries with it a tremendous amount of prestige and substance.
  • Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ products to support the coaching you're doing that includes a comprehensive audio series designed so leaders listen to one tape a month for nine months to reinforce the coaching; participant's manuals of 200+ pages; e-mail newsletter called "Get Better RESULTS!" written by us that each participant can access; and a special section on our web site for your clients and/or co-workers using this program.
  • Individual support from your Success Team facilitator via e-mail whenever you have a question or concern. Your facilitator is there to help you integrate Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ with your clients and/or in your company.
  • Special telediscussions with Jennifer White, the founder of the Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ philosophy, and a Master Certified Coach.
  • The JWC Group conference (optional, of course) that will involve additional training, new products, idea exchange, networking and a whole lot of fun. You won't want to miss this high-powered event.   In 2001, we're holding the annual conference in Sanibel Island on February 4-6.
  • A fabulous community of accomplished and talented coaches who will become your friends, your colleagues and your support network. 


6. What does it cost to be trained to become a Certified RESULTS Coach?

The cost to be trained in our RESULTS program is $6,000. If you apply today, here is what you will need to invest:

  • The $6,000 training fee payable before training begins (which includes all your training materials, the two 3-day trainings held in Kansas City and everything that comes with becoming a Certified RESULTS Coach). * Travel to Kansas City (hotel and air).
  • Long Distance charges for one hour every week to participate in your optional Success Team.
  • Any optional training programs, retreats, or conferences you attend. You may attend the live training programs as many times as you like for just $200.00 after your first time through.
  • If you do not own a computer, you will need to have one as much of our support materials are web-based.
  • Your company or clients will be required to pay $349 per participant to use the RESULTS materials to The JWC Group. That comes out of their pockets, not yours, but we want you to know up front what the costs will be. (This price will drop to $299 per participant if more than 10 people are using the program in one company.) 


7. Is a finance plan available?

Yes.  We've recently rolled out a six-month financing plan.  You can choose to pay $3,000 up front and $520 per month for six months.

And if you pay in full, you save $500.  You can pay the total amount due with a company check, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.  

We will be raising the price for our training and certification program on July 1, so if you're interested, get in touch with us sooner rather than later.


8. What is expected of me if I apply for the training?

We know that we can provide you with the best materials and the most comprehensive training, but unless you're willing to jump in and use our proven system, it simply won't work for you.

Here's what we expect from our Coaches:

  • You'll need to fill out our extensive application which includes information such as a history of who you are, your background, your coaching experience, your work experience, your training as a coach and your experience with your own coach. Please contact us to get an application.
  • If you pass the first round of our application process, you'll need to complete a phone interview with three members of The JWC Group team. This is a very complex program, and we only allow the best of the best to work with us.
  • If selected for training to become a Certified RESULTS Coach, you'll need to come to Kansas City on two different occasions to participate in comprehensive training program held in Kansas City. You will not receive or be able to use this program until you complete this training.
  • If selected to be trained by us, you will become a member of a Success Team that will meet every week via phone for an hour to create accountability for you and so our development team members can provide additional training with you. These teams will meet virtually for six months and may even hold weekend retreats.
  • You'll need to secure payment of $349 per participant for the materials they'll need to use as you coach them to get better results. Although our products (such as the book, Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy: Leadership Lessons For A New Economy, due out in April 2001) are available for purchase to the public, they're most helpful to those who have been through the training program.   There are huge amounts of details and systems that simply can't be put into a book.  Please note only Certified RESULTS Coaches can use materials that include the trademarked certification credential.
  • You'll also need to pass specific qualifications in order to become certified in our program. Training is one thing. Being certified is really what you want to be.
  • And once you become a Certified RESULTS Coach, we've created additional programs to help you become a Senior Coach and join our Circle of Excellence, an exclusive group of our very best coaches.  Once you reach those level, you're truly a master coach. 


9. If I'm accepted for RESULTS training, how soon can I start using this program?

You must complete the initial three-day training program before you can use any of the Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ materials. We strongly recommend that our trainees find a leader or two to work with right away while they're learning this methodology.  The sooner you start using our strategies with real people, the more deeply you'll learn what this program is truly all about.  


10.  There are a lot of coach training programs out there.  Why should I invest in yours?

First, our program will never teach you how to be a coach like the folks at Coach University or the Coaches Training Institute.  We assume you know how to coach before you get to us whether you learned from one of these programs or through your own work experience.  The Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ is an upscale, powerful corporate coaching program – and we expect our coaches to have good experience working in the corporate arena and in some form of coaching before they join us.  The best way to say it:  this is ADVANCED training.  We're where you go when you're ready to be a master coach, not learn how to coach.

Another reason our program is unique is because it's based on fundamental business principles.  Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™ is about 1) getting the right results, 2) retaining key talent, and 3) creating a sane work environment.  Most coaching programs are fluffy or too spiritual or too focused on teaching you coaching skills.  Our coaches already know how to coach before they join our team – what they truly need is a formal program to use that's documented and proven to get results.  We go much more in-depth and help you coach leaders to get what they truly want.  If you're not committed to helping them achieve real bottom line results, you're not the right coach for our team.

And finally, we require our coaches to go through an extensive application and interview process to make sure they're the right coach for our program. Other programs accept anyone who can pay their fees.  What that means for you is your fellow Certified RESULTS Coaches are the type of people you want to learn with.  Quality is the name of the game around here.  


11. Can I take a look at some of the materials I'll be using with this program?

Our materials are proprietary, so please contact us and we'll give you a taste of what this program entails. 12. How many coaches can be involved in training in the Drive Your People Wild Without Driving Them Crazy™  program at one time?

We like each Success Team to include a maximum of 15 trainees. Therefore, our three-day training classes are limited to not more than 15 trainees. Remember, this program is not about quantity, it's about quality. We are limiting the number of people who train to become Certified RESULTS Coaches in order to ensure we only work with those who want to become the best of the best.  


13.  How easy is it to be accepted for training and certification as a RESULTS Coach?

We accept less than half of all who apply for training and certification.  We do accept more internal coaches than external coaches as we limit the way internal coaches can use our materials.  But please, call us and let's talk about your situation. If you're at all concerned about your qualifications or want to talk to us about your background, please contact us, and one of our team members guide you through our process. 


14. Is the RESULTS program available to international participants?

If you live in Canada, the program is available to you right now. For all other countries, please contact JENNIFER WHITE, personally, to open a discussion about expanding to your country. We'll need to evaluate the situation to ensure we don't have language barriers and so we can support you in the way you need.  


15. Are there existing Certified RESULTS Coaches with whom I can talk about their experiences with your program?
